Más allá de la clásica revisión de algunos bugs, los responsables del juego le han dado bastante importancia a esta actualización pues se centra en mejorar la estabilidad general del juego, así como la introducción de mejoras en lo referente al rendimiento, intentando así responder a las quejas que fueron vertidas por algunos usuarios. Además, este parche también incluye un rebalanceo en el poder de ciertas armas, así como otros arreglos menores.

Dragon Age II - Patch 1.03:

NOTE: Some fixes are retroactive, but not all. Players with plot-breaking bugs may need to revert to an earlier save, particularly a save prior to visiting the affected area during the current year in the game.

GAMEPLAY

* The Epic achievement was not unlocking properly for some users. This no longer occurs.
* The Supplier achievement now always unlocks after finding at least 66 resource varieties, including resources purchased from the Black Emporium.
* A codex entry that helps unlock the Archaeologist achievement is now easier to acquire in the Viscount's Keep during the first year in Kirkwall.
* In many fights, enemies now move less quickly at the start of combat. This slower initial pace makes tactical positioning more useful and important.
* If the force of an enemy attack interrupts a party member's current action, the party member now resumes the action once he or she has recovered. This means, for example, that party members who have been instructed to consume a health potion will now do so as soon as they are able, and do not need to be told to consume a health potion again if they are interrupted.
* Enemies are now much less likely to explode into body parts upon death.
* Attacks that hit a stealthed assassin are now more likely to disrupt stealth.
* Abilities that apply a silence effect now also cancel the target's current action in addition to preventing the target from using further abilities.
* When an enemy wakes from a sleep effect due to suffering damage, other status effects that were applied by the same ability that caused the sleep effect are no longer removed at the same time.
* Items that bear the property "100% of basic attack damage vs. enemies that attack in melee" no longer harm the user when equipped in conjunction with abilities like Blood Magic or Sacrificial Frenzy that reduce the user's health.
* The items known as Final Thought, Sataareth, Sundering, and Trepanner's Gift now have damage types that match their elemental damage bonuses.
* The items known as Allure's Crook, Corrupted Acolyte's Staff, Defender of the Wall, Void's Hammer, and Volcanic Shield can now only be equipped by the appropriate classes.
* The high dragon's fireballs no longer track moving targets.
* Pride demons can no longer be affected by their own Crushing Prison spells.
* The size of the area affected by an ability is now explicitly described as diameter or radius (usually diameter).
* When a party member's armor changes after consummating a romance, runes inscribed on his or her old armor now carry over to the new armor.
* Using the Maker's Sigh potion on an archer no longer alters inventory capacity.
* It is no longer possible to create more than one Elixir of Heroism.
* It is no longer possible to simultaneously enable sustained modes that are supposed to be mutually exclusive.
* In some cases, enemies would freeze while entering combat. This no longer occurs.
* In some cases, saw traps or spike traps would throw party members back even when the trap was not visible. This no longer occurs.
* The Special Deliveries chest can no longer get into a state where it contains items but cannot be opened.
* The storage chest is now present in the Hawke estate after completing the main campaign.
* If the Black Emporium premium content is installed, the mabari hound now follows his master more reliably.
* Various character-corruption issues now correct themselves automatically when you load your game.
* Various minor gameplay issues no longer occur.

QUESTS (SPOILER WARNING)

* "Who Needs Rescuing" can now be completed.
* "Friendly Concern" is now available after consummating a romance.
* In "Act of Mercy," Thrask can no longer die, which could block completion.
* In "A Murder of Crows," it is now always possible to fight the varterral.
* In "A New Path," Merrill no longer remains locked in the party after the quest.
* In "Bait and Switch," the chest in the abandoned house can now always be opened.
* In "Demands of the Qun," Aveline's guards no longer turn hostile if the player declines to enter the Qunari compound during the day and then returns at night.
* In "Dissent," it is no longer possible to loot Ser Alrik's body before the appropriate time. This ensures that the quest can always be completed.
* In "No Rest for the Wicked," Isabela now always begins the opening conversation at the appropriate time.
* In "The Captain's Condolences," it is now possible to ask Aveline about her father even if she is not currently in the party.
* In "The Last Straw," Anders now responds much differently if he is a rival.
* In "The Last Straw," Aveline no longer attacks Meredith when the party is supposed to be stunned. This prevents a subsequent issue where the game could freeze after loading the post-campaign save.
* In "Wayward Son," it is no longer possible to speak to Thrask after speaking to Samson. This ensures that the quest progresses correctly.
* If Merrill's clan members die, she no longer speaks as if they were alive.
* If Anders is a rival, giving him the Tevinter Chantry Amulet now results In rivalry points instead of friendship points.
* If the Black Emporium premium content is installed, a new conversation between Fenris and Hawke's dog is available during the fourth year in Kirkwall.
* Alternate Merrill/Aveline banter is now available if Merrill's clan is killed.
* Various references to the events of Dragon Age: Origins are now more accurate.
* Various minor story-scripting issues no longer occur.

FUNCTIONALITY

* Users with a large number of promotional items were timing out when attempting to log in. This no longer occurs.
* Combat audio has been rebalanced so that it is no longer louder than exploration and dialogue audio.
* The Epic achievement or trophy can now always be unlocked.

* An error about AWC.dll that prevents the game from launching no longer occurs.
* A rare issue that caused the configuration utility to crash no longer occurs.
* In the gameplay options menu, It is now possible to enable persistent highlighting on usable objects, similar to holding down the tab key. To reduce clutter, however, this setting does not highlight characters.
* In the gameplay options menu, it is now possible to disable enhanced targeting. Disabling this setting improves framerate but makes it more difficult to highlight characters or objects in some situations.
* The DirectX 11 renderer is now disabled if your video-card drivers are older than version 11.4 (for AMD cards) or 267.14 (for NVIDIA cards).
* The game no longer erroneously uses the DirectX 11 renderer if the DirectX 9 renderer was selected in conjunction with a full-screen gamma value other than the default. This change should improve performance for players who were using those settings. As well, the full-screen gamma value is now saved correctly.
* If the game is set to use a language other than English, it no longer reverts to English upon installing a patch.
* Various issues specific to DirectX 11 no longer occur.
* Various issues preventing the game from launching no longer occur.

BALANCE
NOTE: Patch 1.03 introduces significant changes to the overall balance of the game, improving the strategic elements and making combat and class progression more engaging and enjoyable for players. Here is a detailed summary of the balance-related improvements:

* Enemies' basic attacks now apply much less force, which means that party members' actions are not interrupted as frequently.
* The secondary attribute requirement for equipping armor or shields (constitution for warriors, willpower for mages, and cunning for rogues) is now significantly smaller.
* The rate at which rogues regenerate stamina while performing basic attacks has been significantly increased. Rogues now regain 1% of their stamina per hit with dual weapons or 2% per hit with a bow.
* Traps no longer inflict injuries.
* Enemies now gain more health as the game progresses.
* Enemy assassins now have less health.
* Lieutenant-rank and boss-rank enemies now have less health.
* Lieutenant-rank enemies can no longer lose more than 40% of their health from a single hit, and boss-rank enemies cannot lose more than 20%.
* Enemy commanders now occasionally throw stun grenades while encouraging their troops to concentrate attacks against a single party member. Previously, this behavior was limited to nightmare difficulty.
* Values for armor and elemental resistances now cannot exceed 95%. The game displays values of up to 100%, but characters now suffer 5% damage from an attack even if they show 100% resistance.
* The DISORIENT effect now applies a 50% penalty to enemy defense, as described in the codex, instead of only 25%.
* The Rune of Valiance now provides a +2 bonus to all attributes instead of a variable bonus that could rise as high as +7. As well, equipping and unequipping multiple pieces of armor that each bear a Rune of Valiance no longer results in incorrect attribute scores.
* Items that improve the Blood Magic cost ratio now provide 0.25 mana per point of health instead of 1 mana.
* On hard and nightmare difficulties, status effects now persist on enemies for a slightly longer duration.
* On nightmare difficulty, enemies now inflict more damage than before.
* On nightmare difficulty, party members no longer suffer friendly-fire damage from warriors' basic attacks.
* On nightmare difficulty, party members can no longer suffer more than 75% of their health in damage from a single friendly-fire attack.
* The warrior's Aftershock upgrade to the Tremor talent now has a 30% chance to STAGGER normal enemies instead of 40%.
* The warrior's Claymore upgrade to the Cleave talent now has a 10% chance to STAGGER normal enemies instead of 40%.
* The warrior's Cleave talent now increases damage by 75% instead of 100%, while while the cost has been increased from 20 stamina to 30 and cooldown from 20s to 25s.
* The warrior's Shield Bash talent no longer automatically STAGGERS enemies within range of the attack who were not targeted directly. The primary target is still automatically STAGGERED, but other normal enemies within range have a 40% chance to STAGGER.
* The warrior's Shield Defense talent now increases threat generation by 100%.
* The warrior's Sunder talent now has a 20% chance to STAGGER enemies on a critical hit instead of 50%. As well, the talent now only STAGGERS enemies if the warrior is wielding a two-handed weapon, as originally intended.
* The berserker's Berserk talent now calculates the damage bonus differently, substantially increasing the ability's effectiveness.
* The reaver's Blood Frenzy talent and Fenris's Veneer of Calm talent now provide a maximum bonus of +50% damage instead of +100%.
* The rogue's Ambush talent now functions as described.
* The rogue's Burst Shot talent now inflicts approximately 50% more damage (and 3x physical force instead of 2x).
* The rogue's Brand talent now provides a 25% bonus to warriors' and mages' critical chance instead of 10%.
* The rogue's Disorienting Shot upgrade to the Pinning Shot talent now always DISORIENTS the victim, regardless of whether the victim was pinned in place.
* The rogue's Inconspicuous talent now extends the reduced threat generation to other rogues and mages within a 10m diameter.
* The rogue's Lacerate talent now provides a 10% chance to re-apply the damage from any ability over 5s, instead of a chance to apply a fixed amount of damage.
* The rogue's Merciless Strike upgrade to the Explosive Strike talent now applies 300% damage vs. STAGGERED targets instead of 400%.
* The rogue's Pinning Shot talent now pins the victim for the correct duration.
* The rogue's Pinpoint Strikes talent now includes a 100% bonus to attack for the duration of the ability.
* The assassin's Assassinate talent now has a 50s cooldown instead of 40s. The Annihilate upgrade now applies 200% damage vs. BRITTLE targets instead of 400%.
* The shadow's Decoy talent and Sebastian's Guardian Angel talent now have a 45s cooldown instead of 30s.
* The shadow's Disorienting Criticals talent now functions as described, and provides a 50% bonus to critical damage when obscured instead of 25%.
* The shadow's Pinpoint Precision talent now provides a 50% bonus to critical damage instead of 25%.
* The mage's Walking Bomb spell now inflicts damage equal to 50% of the victim's maximum health upon explosion, within a 4m radius, instead of 100%.
* The mage's Arcane Wall upgrade to the Arcane Shield spell now continues to provide a 20% defense bonus to the mage, as described. Previously, the upgrade reduced the bonus to 15%. Other party members receive a 5% bonus.
* The mage's Chain Reaction upgrade to the Chain Lightning spell now applies 300% damage vs. DISORIENTED targets instead of 600%.
* The mage's Death Syphon spell now drains multiple corpses more quickly.
* The mage's Entropic Cloud spell now applies for 30s instead of 15s (against normal enemies), but the cost has been increased from 35 mana to 50 and the cooldown from 40s to 50s. The Death Cloud upgrade now applies damage every 2s instead of every 4s.
* The mage's Fireball and Firestorm spells now both inflict approximately 40% more damage and apply 3x elemental force instead of 2x.
* The mage's Misdirection Hex spell now applies for 15s instead of 10s (against normal enemies).
* The mage's Petrify spell now applies for 12s instead of 15s (against normal enemies).
* The mage's Sleep spell now applies for 15s instead of 10s (against normal enemies).
* The mage's Spirit Mastery spell now includes a 10% bonus to critical chance instead of 5%.
* The mage's Spirit Strike upgrade to the Spirit Bolt spell now applies 300% damage vs. DISORIENTED targets instead of 200%.
* The mage's Winter's Blast upgrade to the Winter's Grasp spell now notes that it affects nearby enemies.
* The blood mage's Blood Magic spell and the spirit healer's Healing Aura spell are now mutually exclusive.
* The blood mage's Blood Magic spell now reserves 70% of the mage's mana instead of 50%.
* The blood mage's Blood Slave spell now enslaves the victim for a longer duration. As well, if the spell is ineffective, the victim's current action is now canceled. The Blood Spatter upgrade now inflicts damage equal to 75% of the victim's maximum health upon explosion instead of 100%, within a 4m radius. As well, the spell description now displays this information.
* The blood mage's Grave Robber spell now affects a 12m diameter instead of 6m in order to make the ability more useful. The One Foot In upgrade now inflicts 100% of the mage's maximum health in damage instead of 10%.
* The blood mage's Paralyzing Hemorrhage upgrade to the Hemorrhage spell now applies 500% damage vs. STAGGERED targets instead of 900%.
* The force mage's Fist of the Maker spell now inflicts approximately 50% more damage. The Maker's Hammer upgrade now applies 600% damage vs. STAGGERED targets instead of 900%.
* The force mage's Unshakable spell now provides a +50 bonus to fortitude instead of +100.
* The spirit healer's Group Heal spell and Anders's Aid Allies spell now restore 25% of party members' health instead of 30%. When upgraded, Group Heal restores 40% of health instead of 50%.
* The spirit healer's Healing Aura spell and Anders's Panacea spell now provide a +100 bonus to health regeneration instead of +50, and a +200 bonus when upgraded instead of +100. As well, the diameter of the spell has been increased from 6m to 10m, and from 8m to 15m when upgraded. In addition, a rare case in which the spell previously provided an abnormally high rate of health regeneration no longer occurs.
* Anders's Swift Justice spell now reduces cooldowns to 90% of their normal duration instead of 80%.
* Aveline's Bodyguard talent no longer allows her to absorb the damage from Anders's Martyr spell.
* Aveline's Immovable talent now provides a stacking 8% bonus to damage resistance per hit instead of 2%.
* If Bethany or Carver rejoin the party near the end of the game, they now learn the Force Mage and Templar specializations, respectively. Existing save games from after the Deep Roads Expedition will not receive the benefit of this fix.

"Barbers and Coiffeuses"

Some traders also provide barbershop services. For a small fee, Geralt can get them to change his hairstyle. Search notice boards for information about barbers and coiffeuses offering services of this nature in a given location. In Flotsam, in Chapter 1 of the game, these services are available from the antique book dealer Einar Gausel. In Chapter 2, look either for Sambor in Henselt’s Camp or for Felicia Cori in Vergen. This apprentice sorceress also provides hairstyling services in Loc Muinne, in Chapter 3 of the game.

2. Patch 1.2 adds a new free DLC package titled “Barbers and Coiffeuses.” To take advantage of barbershop and hairstyling services, look for Einar Gausel in Chapter 1 of the game, Sambor in Henselt’s Camp in Chapter 2, Felicia Cori in Chapter 2 if you travel to Vergen, and Felicia Cori once again in Chapter 3.
3. Game saves are now compressed automatically, lowering the amount of disk space they utilize.
4. An option has been added to the game menu allowing game saves to be deleted. To delete a game save, highlight the relevant item and press the ‘Delete’ key.
5. The game menu now loads at a markedly accelerated pace.
6. The game now supports Logitech G35 headphones and other USB headsets with on-board sound cards.
7. A number of fixes have been added to the key binding functionality (actions can now be mapped to number pad and cursor/arrow keys).
8. Analog sticks on gamepads now work correctly in the GUI panels.
9. A number of game balance fixes have been introduced in the Prologue.
10. Lock on targets is not lost when the distance to targets increases.
11. A number of fixes have been made in blocking functionality during combat. Also, player character responsiveness in combat has been improved, and Geralt can attack more than one target during normal combat.
12. A number of corrections have been made in the statistics displayed in item diagrams in the Crafting panel.
13. The Witcher 1 saves are now imported correctly.
14. An auto–save has been added before the fight against the draug.
15. Flare bomb duration is now 2 (two) minutes.
16. Issue involving the equipping of bombs (or other items) even if they were not present in the character Inventory has been fixed.
17. Islamic–themed and similar textures have been deleted and/or replaced.
18. A number of fixes have been made in game dialogues.
19. Issue that blocked advancement to the next level at the start of Chapter 3 has been fixed.
20. Issue involving the occurrence of T-poses upon the destruction of nekker nests has been corrected.
21. Guards can no longer block Geralt when he is on a ladder.
22. Knives no longer affect friendly NPCs.
23. Bug related to using some containers has been fixed.
24. Ostmurk (an ingredient required to complete a quest) can no longer be sold.
25. Ingredients required to complete the “Melitele's Heart” quest have been added to the game.
26. A fix has been introduced in the “Troll Trouble” quest whereby the she–troll’s head can be won in a game of dice poker.
27. The Ghost of the Banner can no longer be killed by wraiths.
28. Issue involving the Operator being neutral and thus susceptible to being killed before any conversation occurs has been fixed.
29. A number of fixes have been introduced to prevent selected NPCs from being blocked (king in siege tower, knights when destroying a gate in the Prologue, etc.).
30. The “Three Sisters” quest has been fixed so that the door does not remain locked forever once the quest has been completed.
31. A number of progression breaks have been fixed, including instances of blocked meditation, inability to save game, and blocked combat after use of static cameras (e.g. game could not be saved after completion of the “Indecent Proposal” quest).
32. The progression break during the fight against the dragon in Chapter 3 (exploration not working properly) has been fixed.
33. The progression break during the fight against Dethmold (whereby he sometimes remained behind his barrier, doing nothing) has been fixed.
34. The progression break (black screen) in the "Little Shop of Dreams" quest has been fixed.
35. The progression break following failure to complete the ritual with Anezka has been fixed.
36. The progression break during the dialogue on the beach in the “Hung Over” quest has been fixed.

Así es Urraca, el parche es distribuido a través de Steam. Los que no usen esta plataforma, el auto-updater del juego debería detectarlo. No obstante, si surge algún problema con el auto-update, aquí está la actualización manual.

Ostras, pues me ha dado por mirar haber si había tal Autopatch y resulta que es un exe a parte, lo cual esto quiere decir, que nunca e actualizado mi juego T.T
Un saludote y gracias por el dato. Lo que me parece raro es que deje jugar online sin actualizar :13:

RAGE Patch Release Notes - October 8th 2011
-------------------------------------------

RAGE defaults to lower video settings to allow the game to work on a wide variety of hardware and software configurations.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to anticipate all possible graphics driver issues in combination with unique end user hardware and software configurations. For this reason RAGE does not automatically increase
video/graphics settings as this could result in negative side effects on specific hardware and software configurations. The original release of RAGE does not expose many video/graphics options for people to tweak
because some of these settings, although desirable from a quality perspective, simply will not work on specific configurations either due to hardware limitations and/or driver bugs. Due to popular demand for
more video and graphics options, this patch updates the video settings menu and exposes several quality and performance settings. However, not everyone may be able to increase the settings due to hardware limitations
and/or driver bugs.


VSync
-----

The new "VSync" option in the video settings menu allows you to remove screen tearing. There are three options: ON, OFF and SMART.

When VSync is turned OFF you may experience screen tearing.

When VSync is turned ON you should not see screen tearing. However, any time your frame rate drops below 60 frames per second you will get a sudden more severe drop to 30 frames per second. This is how VSync inherently works. If your computer cannot maintain 60 frames per second and you miss the synchronization to the vertical retrace of your monitor then you will miss a whole frame and synchronize to the next frame instead.

Some graphics drivers now support a so called "swap-tear" extension.
You can try using this extension by setting VSync to SMART.
If your graphics driver supports this extension and you set VSync to SMART then RAGE will synchronize to the vertical retrace of your monitor when your computer is able to maintain 60 frames per second and the screen may tear if your frame rate drops below 60 frames per second. In other words the SMART VSync option trades a sudden drop to 30 frames per second with occasional screen tearing. Occasional screen tearing is usually considered less distracting than a more severe drop in frame rate.

If your graphics driver does not support SMART VSync and you set VSync to SMART in the video settings then RAGE will automatically fall back to turning VSync OFF and you may experience screen tearing. The "swap-tear" extension is brand new and may still present some issues on certain graphics hardware. If you experience any problems using SMART Vsync then set VSync to either ON or OFF. We are actively working with the graphics hardware vendors to improve the "swap-tear" extension.

If changing VSync in the RAGE video settings menu does not appear to make any difference then make sure you are not overriding the VSync setting in the graphics vendor control panel. You can find the graphics vendor control panel by right-clicking on the Windows desktop and selecting the " control panel" option from the pop-up menu.

If you force VSync to the 'on' setting in the graphics vendor control panel then you should not see any screen tearing in RAGE but you may get a more severe drop in frame rate if your computer cannot maintain
60 frames per second.

If you force VSync to the 'off' setting in the graphics vendor control panel then you may experience screen tearing no matter what setting you use for the VSync option in the RAGE video settings menu.


Texture Cache
-------------

The new "Texture Cache" option in the video settings menu allows you to increase the texture cache size to keep more texture data in video memory.

If the Texture Cache is set to LARGE then RAGE will keep more texture data in video memory. This may not only significantly reduce blurry textures and texture popping, it will also allow complex scenes to be rendered with more texture detail.

However, this may not work on computers that do not have enough system or video memory, or you may experience a significant drop in performance.
If you experience issues due to hardware limitations you will have to set the Texture Cache back to SMALL.

If after changing the Texture Cache to LARGE you experience a crash or texture corruption (like a partially or completely blue world) then the graphics driver may have run out of memory.

We are actively working with the graphics card vendors to resolve any crashes.

If you do not experience a crash but you see texture corruption then you may be able to get the large Texture Cache to work by accepting the change and restarting the game. If you still experience texture corruption after restarting the game you will have to set the Texture Cache back to SMALL.

You may also be able to improve the memory situation on your computer by changing the Windows paging file management. Note that making changes to the Windows paging file management may change the performance characteristics of your computer. Any changes you make to your system configuration are at your own risk. Always make backups of your system and revert these changes if you notice undesirable side effects.

To change the paging file management on Windows Vista and Windows 7, first press the "Start" button, then right-click on "Computer" and then select "Properties" from the popup menu. Then select "Advanced system settings" on the window that appears. Select the "Advanced" tab on the "System Properties" window that is displayed and press the "Settings" button under "Performance". Select the "Advanced" tab on the "Performance Options" window that shows up next and press the "Change..." button under "Virtual memory". Now uncheck the option "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and make sure that the option "System managed size" is selected on the "Virtual Memory" window. Confirm the change by pressing the "OK" button on each window. After making this change you will have to restart your computer for the change to take effect.

To change the paging file management on Windows XP, first press the "Start" button, then right-click on "My Computer" and then select "Properties" from the popup menu. Select the "Advanced" tab on the "System Properties" window that is displayed and press the "Settings" button under "Performance". Select the "Advanced" tab on the "Performance Options" window that shows up next and press the "Change" button under "Virtual memory". Make sure that the option "System managed size" is selected on the "Virtual Memory" window.
Confirm the change by pressing the "OK" button on each window.
After making this change you will have to restart your computer for the change to take effect.


Anisotropic Filter
------------------

The new "Anisotropic Filter" option in the video settings menu allows you to increase the anisotropic texture filtering.

Anisotropic filtering is a method to enhance the image quality of textures on surfaces that are at oblique viewing angles.

The anisotropic texture filtering in RAGE defaults to a low value to accommodate for low-end graphics hardware. However, the anisotropic filtering can be increased for high-end graphics hardware by setting the Anistropic Filter option to HIGH in the video settings menu.

Do not force anisotropic filtering to the ‘on’ setting in the graphics vendor control panel because this may cause rendering artifacts in the game.

Note that increasing the anisotropic filtering may improve the texture quality while it may also decrease the frame rate.


Patch Changes / Fixes
---------------------

- Implemented workaround for AMD driver crash right after intro cinematic on Win 7 32-bit systems.
- Disabled UBOs because they are causing animation issues with AMD drivers.
- Don't allow swap-tear to be enabled on AMD while the extension is not exposed because it may crash.
- Support for new video settings: "texture cache", "vsync" and "anisotropic filter"
- Automatically adjust vt_maxPPF based on the number of available cores.
- Improved performance for SLI cards when GPU transcode is enabled.
- Fix for GPU Transcoding option being disabled after exiting gameplay.
- Added safe mode to restore video settings to default values.
- Allow g_fov to be changed from the RAGE launch options in Steam.
- Server now forwards text chat from clients to all other clients while
in-game.


Known Graphical Issues
----------------------

The following issues were found using NVIDIA graphics hardware with the GeForce R285 Driver or AMD graphics hardware with the AMD Catalyst 11.10 Version 2 Preview Driver.


- If you turn up both the screen resolution and anti-aliasing settings to high values in the video settings menu and/or you enable "GPU Transcode" then the screen may no longer update on some hardware configurations. This means your system does not have the necessary video memory to run with these high settings. You can re-enter the video settings menu and lower your settings to restart screen updates.

- If you turn up both the screen resolution and anti-aliasing settings to high values in the video settings menu you may experience a crash if your system does not have the necessary memory to run with these high settings. To avoid this problem you will have to re-enter the video settings menu to lower the settings. If you can no longer launch the game after changing the video settings to high values you can add the following to your RAGE launch options in Steam:

+com_safemode 1

The launch options can be found by right-clicking on RAGE in Steam and selecting "Properties". Then click on "Set Launch Options" in the dialog that pops up. Adding this option will reset your video settings to the default values the next time the game is launched.
When the game is launched in safe mode the game will show "safe mode" in the corners of the screen. Do not forget to remove the safe mode launch option after launching the game once to make sure you do not lose your video settings each time you launch the game.

- Using a NVIDIA graphics card on Windows XP 32-bit or XP 64-bit, you may experience a crash or hang when changing the screen resolution in full screen mode or switching from windowed mode to full screen mode. This has been identified as a graphics driver problem. We have spent significant effort trying to work around this problem and were successful in reducing the frequency of occurrence but a driver update is necessary to completely fix the problem. We are actively working with NVIDIA to make a solution to this problem available as soon as possible.

- Using an AMD graphics card, you may experience black flickering artifacts on flags, banners and zip-lines if you run in full screen mode. This has been identified as a graphics driver problem. We are actively working with AMD on a solution to this problem.

- Using an AMD graphics card, you may experience black grid lines on some graphical user interface (GUI) elements like the in-game mini-map.
This has been identified as a graphics driver problem. We are actively working with AMD on a solution to this problem. If you find the grid lines particularly distracting, you can add the following to the RAGE launch options in Steam as a temporary workaround.

+vt_maxAniso 1

The launch options can be found by right-clicking on RAGE in Steam and selecting "Properties". Then click on "Set Launch Options" in the dialog that pops up. However, note that adding this setting will lower the general texture quality in the game.

- If you have an AMD graphics card with a dual core CPU system you may experience severe hitching and low frame rates. This has been identified as a driver problem. We are actively working with AMD on a solution to this problem. As a temporary workaround you may add the following to the RAGE launch options in Steam:

+jobs_numThreads 0

The launch options can be found by right-clicking on RAGE in Steam and selecting "Properties". Then click on "Set Launch Options" in the dialog that pops up.

- If you are running RAGE in full-screen mode and you ALT-TAB to a different application you may lose your VSync setting. When you switch to a different application VSync stops functioning.
RAGE detects that VSync is no longer working and automatically switches back to synchronizing to real-time to make sure the game time advances in a consistent manner. We are actively working with the graphics
vendors on a solution to this problem.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Parche 1:

Bethesda nos informa que desde hace ya unas horas han publicado un primer parche para The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim que, en los poco más de 18MB que ocupa, viene a corregir diversos errores detectados. El parche se os descargará automáticamente a través de Steam. Dicho esto, Bethesda nos informa que el parche resetea el fichero SkyrimPrefs.ini, por lo que para aquellos que lo han editado a mano recomiendan realizar una copia del mismo antes de instalar el citado parche. Por otro lado, algunos usuarios han comentado problemas al volver ejecutar el juego tras instalar el parche, para ellos hay unas indicaciones en este enlace. Y ya por último, otros usuarios se han quejado también de que el parche impide la ejecución de la modificación LAA (Large Address Aware), la cual permite que el juego haga uso de más de un máximo de 4GB de memoria RAM, en vez de los 2 que pilla el juego por defecto. Para ellos, tienen una solución a través de este otro enlace.

- Fixed older saves not being loadable after the first update. This version should be able to load saves from any of previous two versions.
- Fixed some rare cases where player disconnecting at a very particular moment would make some parts of gameplay scripts to break (usually not spawning some enemies or similar).
- When several players are standing in front of ammo crate and one of them opens the crate, ammo will be awarded to all of them, not only to the one who opened it.

New Dungeon: Well of Eternity

In this new 5-player Heroic dungeon, adventurers travel back 10,000 years in a brazen attempt to retrieve the Dragon Soul.

New Dungeon: Hour of Twilight

This new 5-player Heroic dungeon sets the final stage by bringing players face-to-face with the Twilight's Hammer in present-day Dragonblight, where Thrall and the Dragon Soul must be safely escorted to Wyrmrest Temple so that the assault on Deathwing can commence.

New Raid: Dragon Soul

Players have the opportunity to take the fight to Wyrmrest Temple and beyond, assisting Thrall and the Dragon Aspects as they seek to bring an end to the Black Dragonflight once and for all. 10- and 25-person raids will get to take on Deathwing himself, with three levels of difficulty to consider and epic gear to claim.

New Baradin Hold boss: Alizabal

Alizabal presents an all-new boss challenge to player in 10- and 25-player arrangements who control Tol Barad. This boss will be available with the start of Season 11, one week after the release of patch 4.3.

New Legendary Item: Fangs of the Father

The most deadly and experienced rogues will play a central role in the fate of the world the rogue's way: by manipulating key events from the shadows. Players will travel across continents to accomplish crucial missions of reconnaissance, burglary, infiltration and, of course, assassination. Rogues who succeed will receive a paired set of daggers that will become increasingly lethal as their bearer progresses along the legendary quest. At the height of their strength, they will be imbued with the vile essence of the Old Gods, as well as the maddened fury of the Black Dragonflight -- bestowing great power upon their bearer. These powers include a stacking increase to Agility which builds until dark wings unfurl from the rogue's back, removing the combo point cost and increasing damage of finishing moves for a short time. In addition, the wings which can be spread on command (with no combat benefit) to slow a rapid descent, allowing the rogue to slowly fall to the ground... or enact a little death from above!

New Feature: Raid Finder

This new grouping feature allows players to quickly and easily form a pick-up raid for a specially tuned version of the current tier of endgame content: the Dragon Soul raid.

New Feature: Transmogrification

This new feature allows players to customize their gear like never before: copying the appearance of one magical item onto another. You'll find Transmogrification, Void Storage, and Reforging vendors in Cathedral Square, Stormwind and The Drag, Orgrimmar.

Void Storage

In addition to the bank, players will now have access to a new "deep storage" system, allowing characters to free bag space by setting aside coveted gear. You'll find Transmogrification, Void Storage, and Reforging vendors in Cathedral Square, Stormwind and The Drag, Orgrimmar.

Reforging

Make your way to Darkmoon Island during the first week of every month to take in the new Darkmoon Faire, complete with new quests, shows, games, recipes, toys, balloons, souvenirs, snacks, beverages, achievements, and titles.

Improved Outland & Northrend Quest Flow

The amount of experience needed to gain levels 71 through 80 has been reduced by approximately 33%.
Many Group quests in Outland and Northrend have been re-tuned to allow players to complete them solo. They are no longer labeled as Group quests.
Relevant questgivers have been moved into Outland and Northrend dungeons. The majority of dungeon quests for these zones are now available from within their respective dungeons.



Achievements


The achievement Master of Alterac Valley no longer requires the Alterac Valley Blitz achievement.
The achievement Tol Barad Veteran now requires 25 victories in Tol Barad, down from 100.


Classes: General

Vengeance for Protection warriors, Protection paladins, Blood death knights, and Feral druids has been redesigned slightly. It no longer ramps up slowly at the beginning of a fight. Instead, the first melee attack taken by the tank generates Vengeance equal to 33% of the damage taken by that attack. In addition, as it updates periodically during the fight, it's always set to at least 33% of the damage taken by the tank in the last 2 seconds. It still climbs from that point at the rate it did previously, still decays when damage is not taken, and still cannot exceed a maximum based on the health and Stamina of the tank.
Threat generated by classes in active tanking modes has been increased to 500% damage done, up from 300%. This applies to druids in Bear Form, death knights in Blood Presence, warriors in Defensive Stance, and paladins with Righteous Fury active.
Spells which have an effect broken by taking damage past a threshold (Entangling Roots, Fear, Frost Nova, etc.) now count damage that was prevented by damage absorbs or other damage reducing effects.
Buffs

All raid and party buffs which grant group members 10% increased attack power have been changed slightly. They continue to provide 10% increased ranged attack power, but now provide 20% increased melee attack power.

Abomination's Might: The melee attack power bonus from this raid buff has been increased to 10/20%, up from 5/10%. The ranged attack power bonus remains 5/10%.
Blessing of Might: The melee attack power bonus from this raid buff has been increased to 20%, up from 10%. The ranged attack power bonus remains 10%.
Runescroll of Might: The melee attack power bonus from this consumable has been increased to 16%, up from 8%. The ranged attack power bonus remains 8%.
Trueshot Aura: The melee attack power bonus from this raid buff has been increased to 20%, up from 10%. The ranged attack power bonus remains 10%.
Unleashed Rage: The melee attack power bonus from this raid buff has been increased to 10/20%, up from 5/10%. The ranged attack power bonus remains 5/10%.





Death Knights


Death Strike now heals the death knight whether or not the attack misses, or is dodged/parried. As a result of this change, Death Strike no longer refunds its rune cost if it fails to hit the target, as the death knight will still receive the healing effect.
Blood Presence now provides an armor bonus of 55%, up from 30%.
Death Knight pets now properly inherit their master's crit and spell penetration stats.
Talent Specializations

Blood

Blade Barrier has been redesigned. It now passively reduces damage taken.
Bone Shield now has 6 charges, up from 4.
Veteran of the Third War now reduces the cooldown of Outbreak by 30 seconds.

Unholy

Unholy Might now increases Strength by 25%, up from 20%.
The gargoyle called by Summon Gargoyle should exclusively use its ranged attack regardless of range to the target.





Druids


Wrath has a new spell effect.
Hurricane has a new updated visual effect.
Swipe (Cat) has been reduced to 340% weapon damage, down from 415%.
Bear Form now provides an armor bonus of 120% at all levels, up from 65% for characters below level 40, making it easier for lower level druids to tank dungeons.
Bear Form now provides a Stamina bonus of 20%, up from 10%.
Talent Specializations

Balance

Celestial Focus now also reduces Cyclone spell pushback.

Restoration

Wild Growth healing has been reduced by 20%.
Nature's Focus now also reduces Cyclone and Entangling Roots spell pushback.


Glyphs

Glyph of Shred has been renamed Glyph of Bloodletting, and now also causes Mangle (Cat) to extend the duration of Rip, in addition to its existing Shred functionality.
Glyph of Wild Growth now also increases the cooldown on Wild Growth by 2 seconds.



Hunters


Monstrous Bite now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 10%.
Talent Specializations

Beast Mastery

Animal Handler now increases Attack Power by 30%, up from 25%.
Widow Venom now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 10%.
Burrow Attack now does approximately 20% more damage, and has an increased area of effect.
Froststorm Breath now does approximately 20% more damage, and has an increased area of effect.

Survival

Explosive Shot damage has been increased by 15%.





Mages


Pyroblast's initial damage has been increased by approximately 26%, and its damage over time has been increased by approximately 100%.
Fireball damage has been increased by approximately 17%.
Talent Specializations

Fire

Living Bomb damage over time has been increased by approximately 10%, and explosion damage has been increased by approximately 120%.






Paladins


Holy Radiance now has a 3.0-second cast time, no cooldown, and requires a player target. That target is imbued with Holy Radiance, which heals them and all group members within 10 yards instantly, and continues to heal them by a smaller amount every 1 second for 3 seconds.
Seal of Insight, when Judged, no longer returns 15% base mana to the paladin. Judging Seal of Insight still causes damage, and melee attacks will still restore 4% of base mana.
Seal of Truth, when Judged, now benefits from a multiplier of 20% per stack of Censure, up from 10%.
Talent Specializations

Holy

Clarity of Purpose now also reduces the cast time of Holy Radiance.
Illuminated Healing (mastery) now also applies to Holy Radiance.
Infusion of Light now applies its cast time reduction from Holy Shock critical effects to Holy Radiance, in addition to its current effects.
In addition to providing haste, the effect from Judgements of the Pure now increases mana regeneration from Spirit by 10/20/30% for 60 seconds.
Light of Dawn now affects 6 targets (base effect), up from 5.
Paragon of Virtue now lowers the cooldown of Divine Protection by 15/30 seconds, up from 10/20 seconds.
Speed of Light no longer triggers from Holy Radiance and no longer lowers the Holy Radiance cooldown. Speed of Light now only triggers from Divine Protection.
Tower of Radiance, in addition to its current effects, now also causes Holy Radiance to always generate 1 charge of Holy Power at all times.
Beacon of Light is triggered by Word of Glory, Holy Shock, Flash of Light, Divine Light and Light of Dawn at 50% transference and Holy Light at 100% transference. It does not transfer Holy Radiance, Protector of the Innocent or other sources of healing.

Retribution

Sanctified Retribution now increases the critical hit chance of Hammer of Wrath by 2/4/6%, down from 20/40/60%.
Two-Handed Weapon Specialization (passive) now increases damage by 25%, up from 20%.


Glyphs

Glyph of Light of Dawn now lowers the number of targets to 4, instead of increasing targets to 6, but increases healing by 25%.



Priests


Divine Hymn now affects 5 targets, up from 3.
Talent Specializations

Discipline

Atonement will now account for the target enemy's combat reach when calculating proper range, enabling it to be used on large creatures such as Ragnaros and Ala'kir.
Divine Aegis has a new spell effect.

Holy

Spirit of Redemption has been rebuilt to address a few functionality issues and make it more responsive. Spirit of Redemption otherwise remains unchanged.
State of Mind has been redesigned and is now called Heavenly Voice. Heavenly Voice increases the healing done by Divine Hymn by 50/100%, and reduces the cooldown of Divine Hymn by 2.5/5 minutes.
Guardian Spirit's healing bonus has been increased to 60%, up from 40%.
Holy Word: Serenity now has a cooldown of 10 seconds, down from 15 seconds.





Glyphs

Glyph of Circle of Healing now also increases the mana cost of Circle of Healing by 20%.




Rogue


Wound Poison now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 10%.


Shaman


Flametongue Weapon no longer increases spell damage. It now increases all non-physical damage done by the wielder by 5%.
Lightning Bolt has a new spell effect.
Wind Shear's base cooldown has been adjusted to 15 seconds, up from 6 seconds.
Talent Specializations

Elemental

Call of Flame no longer causes Fire Nova to extend the duration of Flame Shock.
Earthquake damage has been increased by roughly 75%.
Elemental Fury now removes the cooldown from Chain Lightning.
Reverberation now reduces the cooldown of Wind Shear by 5/10 seconds, up from 0.5/1 second.
Shamanism now increases the spell power benefit to Lightning Bolt, Lava Burst, and Chain Lightning by 36%, up from 32%.
Fire Elemental now benefits from 55% of its master's spell power, up from 50%.

Enhancement

Improved Lava Lash now causes Lava Lash to spread a Flame Shock debuff from the target to up to 4 nearby targets. This excludes crowd-controlled targets and those who already have a Flame Shock debuff from the shaman.
Improved Lava Lash no longer increases base Lava Lash damage by 15/30%. This increase has been rolled into the base Lava Lash skill.
Mental Quickness has been redesigned. Instead of granting the shaman spell power, Mental Quickness now causes Enhancement shaman spells to behave as though the shaman has spell power equal to 55% of attack power. Enhancement shaman spells no longer benefit from spell power from other sources.
Maelstrom Weapon can now also proc from fully absorbed melee attacks.

Restoration

Ancestral Healing now also causes the shaman's heals to increase the target's maximum health by 5/10% of the amount healed, up to a maximum of 10% of the target's maximum health, for 15 seconds. This effect does not stack if multiple Restoration shaman are present, and does not apply to heals from procs.
Riptide's periodic healing coefficient has been increased by 50%. The initial direct heal is unchanged.




Warlocks


Shadow Bolt has a new spell effect.
Soul Fire now scales with 72.6% of spell power, up from 62.5%.
The Voidwalker ability Suffering now works like the hunter pet talent Taunt.
Talent Specializations

Demonology

Master Demonologist now grants a base bonus of 18.4% and 2.3% per mastery, up from 16% and 2% per mastery.
Impending Doom is now also activated by Soul Fire.

Destruction

Fire and Brimstone now increases the damage of Incinerate and Chaos Bolt on Immolated targets by 5/10/15%, up from 2/4/6%.
Burning Embers now deals damage equal to 25/50% of Soul Fire and Imp's Firebolt, up from 15/30%.
Buning Embers damage cap has been raised.
Shadowburn now deals Shadowflame damage, instead of Shadow damage.
Improved Soul Fire now lasts 20 sec, up from 15sec.


Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that caused Doomguard and Infernal to benefit dramatically more than intended from Demonology Mastery.



Warriors


Charge (and related abilities) should now correctly path to a target even if the target moves during the Charge. This change should decrease the likelihood of the warrior Charging to a different location than the target.
Slam now uses a new character attack animation.
Colossus Smash now uses a new character attack animation.
Talent Specializations

Arms

Mortal Strike now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 10%.

Fury

Dual Wield Specialization no longer increases Physical damage by 5%. It continues to increase off-hand attack damage by 25%.
Furious Attacks now reduces the target's healing received by 25%, up from 10%.





Dungeons & Raids


Dungeon Journal entries have been added for the new dungeons: End Time , Well of Eternity , Hour of Twilight , and Dragon Soul .
Players who use Dungeon Finder for a random Heroic dungeon will no longer be locked to that instance. Previously, players who entered an instance via the Random Dungeon option were then prohibited from queuing for that dungeon or entering the instance manually via the portal. Players should now always be able to complete a specific Heroic dungeon once per day regardless of any random dungeons completed.
Ruins of Ahn'qiraj

Bosses now drop a rare-quality Scarab Coffer Key which can be used to open the Scarab Coffers found within. These keys are zone-bound to Ruins of Ahn'qiraj and have a 17-hour expiration. This change also applies to Greater Scarab Coffer Keys used to open Large Scarab Coffers.

Zul'Gurub

Players now only have to kill two of the four initial dungeon bosses (High Priest Venoxis, Broodlord Mandokir, High Priestess Kilnara, and Zanzil) to face Jin'do the Godbreaker.

Zul'Aman

Players now only have to kill two of the four Troll avatars before they may face Hex Lord Malacrass.



Guilds


Guild Standards are again useable in Firelands. Duration has been increased to 15 minutes, the effect has a 100 yard radius, and now affects dead players.


Items


Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest: The chance for this item's effect to be triggered has been reduced.



Races


The orc racial Blood Fury now increases spell power rather than only spell damage.


User Interface

Archaeology areas of interest will now show on the mini-map, in addition to the World Map.
Bag Search

A search field has been added to allow players to search bag, bank, guild bank, and Void Storage inventories for specific items.

Inactive Guild Leader Replacement

Guilds with inactive guild leaders can now usurp the leader under specific conditions.

The Reforging interface has been updated and improved.
Quest Tracking areas or points of interest will now show on the mini-map, in addition to the World Map.
The World Map now displays the expected character levels for each zone.
Added a "promote everyone" checkbox that will automatically make all raid members, Raid assistants. This checkbox can be found in the Raid Frame and the Unit Frame "pull-out" tab.
There are now commands for world markers & unit markers.
Added new rotation, zoom, and pan controls are now available in all windows with player models in UI frames.
Players can now unlearn profession specialization without unlearning the profession (Engineering & Alchemy).
[Mac] Added functionality to allow using the Command key instead of the Control key on Apple keyboards. This can be enabled in Mac Options.
[Mac] Added functionality to disable Mac OS system keyboard shortcuts so that they do not interfere with keyboard shortcuts in WoW. This can be enabled in Mac Options.
Added a feature to interact with NPCs, game objects (mailbox, mining nodes, etc.), and corpses on left-click as well as right-click. There is now an option under Interface: Controlsto turn this feature off.

[China, Korea, Taiwan] Pasting from the clipboard should no longer cause the client to crash.

Si, por lo visto van a sacar otro parche la próxima semana ( Skyrim recibirá otro parche la próxima semana - Noticias en MERISTATION)


Por otro lado, Assassin's Creed Revelations se estrena con parche en su lanzamiento:
